WHAT ARE RECIPROCALS?

“The integrity of the structure of the body is critical for living a healthy and mobile life. PARTNERSHIPS

Reciprocals represent partnerships and relationships. They act as circuit breakers and keep the Wei Qi (protective energy) of the body healthy and strong. Resynchronizing these partnerships (reciprocals) increases the communication in the body bringing a holistic effect, boosts energy, and balances the energy meridian system that influences every major organ.

YOGA AND THE HEART/LUNG PARTNERSHIP

One important partnership in the body is the heart and lungs. They pass the blood back and forth between them. The lungs give oxygen to the blood and gives that life-giving blood back to the heart to circulate.

The lungs also help us to Trust and to let go. Breath is life. Breath is awareness. Breath involves Trust, because when we breathe out, we trust that we will breathe in.
Yoga incorporates breath into each practice. While focusing on the breath in life or in your yoga practice, think on the connection between the heart and the lungs, then tap gently on the top of your head and over your heart. This alows for a new dynamic and renewed sense of working together within the body.
